Cristiano Ronaldo on Tuesday, became the first player in football history to achieve back-to-back Hattrick in the Champions League knockout stages, when Real Madrid thwarted Atletico Madrid to finish in a third final in four years conclude.
Real was completely dominant against their town rivals at the Bernabeu and led after 10 minutes when Ronaldo led home Casemiro's cross.
Ronaldo scored the second after crushing an unstoppable shot of 16 yards before Atletico Keeper Jan Oblak, who had made several saves to keep his side in the tie.
And the Portuguese captain ensured that all headlines would be a second victory in the Champions League-Hattrick after scoring five goals against Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals. Atletico just had a shot at the finish and must pull off one of the Champions League all-time special performances to stop double chasing Real to end their European dreams for the fourth straight season.
