Wicked Father Burns Daughter's Face, Private Parts With Iron

A 45-yrs-old man, Surakat Idowu has been arrested by the Lagos state Police Command for allegedly brutalizing his five-yrs-old daughter with a hot iron.

Idowu, who had sent his wife packing since 2013, allegedly tortured the girl with a hot iron in the face and private parts on Monday for disobeying his order to dispose a faeces in a potty into a latrine. Rather she poured it on the ground.

The victim, a nursery school pupil, was blinded by the burns she had on her face and ger private parts swollen.

An eyewitness reported the incident at the Ikotun Police Division which led to his arrest.

Meanwhile, the state Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni had directed that the case be transferred from the Ikotun Police Division to the Gender Unit at the command headquarter in Ikeja.
