Earlier that day, the deceased had sent a text message to his wife that he would not make it back to Port Harcourt and that he would pass the night with his customer in Warri.
Days passed, Okoh did not return home and was not reachable on phone so his wife was said to have contacted the customer, who claimed that he had not seen the deceased for over a period of time.
The deceased’s wife reported the matter to the Delta State Police Command and the police declared him missing. After raiding the spare parts market in Warri, the wife was able to identify some of the parts her husband left with on the fateful day.
