[See photo]: Lagos teachers whip schoolgirl’s buttocks raw

A 13-year-old female student  of a school in Ijegun area of Lagos, was whipped by three teachers leaving the buttocks of the girl badly bruised, and led to an outrage on social media, calling to question the limit of corporal punishment.

It was learnt that the girl (name withheld ) was allegedly caned by three male teachers of St Saviour’s High School, Ijegun as punishment for attending the birthday party of another student of the school in company with other classmates.

But the girl’s father said that whatever reason the teachers had to punish his daughter, beating to the extent of needing medical treatment was a criminal act.

It was gathered that because there was a public holiday on Friday, May 27, the school held its Children’s Day party on Thursday, the previous day, during which they all wore mufti.

That the girl and many other classmates decided to go to the house of another student living beside the school, who happened to be celebrating her birthday.
That was when her name was written with others as offenders, who attended the birthday without  permission.

She came home crying on Tuesday when school resumed after the public holidays, only for her father to discover the bruising that whipping had done to the girl’s backside.

Her father condemned the gory act. He said; "I have to tell you that I nearly fainted when I saw the injury. I am a soft person, but that does not mean I don’t punish my children when they do something wrong."

"But I will only be crazy to cane my child to the extent of inflicting injury on her.

"How can three teachers do that to my child? For attending a birthday? Is that such a crime. Why three teachers would beat her is still a mystery to me," he asked.

However, the school administrator, Mr. Isaac Idowu denied the allegation that three teacher whipped the girl. He said that the claims by the girl’s family were far from the truth.

According to him, after the school, students were released at 3pm after the Children’s Day party, more than 70 students including the girl decided to go to a hotel called Fatherland in the area and attended a birthday party, where some of them allegedly got drunk.

Idowu said, “We have the responsibility to keep them safe. When we learnt that the students did not go home straight, we decided to conduct our investigation.

“When they came to school this week Tuesday, we gathered the students who went for the birthday in our hall and held a counselling for them. Then we decided that as punishment, session each of them should be given just four strokes of the cane.

“Those who were deeply involved were expelled or suspended indefinitely, while those who were not so involved but went for the party like this girl, were given just one week suspension.

"Even some of their parents have come here begging us to reverse the suspension, urging us to cane them more instead. She is the only one out of the 70, who had this kind of issue.

"We have shown concern too about the girl’s welfare but the picture of the injury is not the true state of the situation.

"Of course, it is not true that three teachers beat her. It is not possible. If anything bad happened to any of the students while at the hotel, the parents would have made trouble with us because they did not know they were no longer under our care after the school hours," he said.

7 Ways To Keep Your Vagina Vibrant

Vagina, just like other body organs, can atrophy when it’s not being taken care of, or put to proper use for that matter. In order to make your vagina feel and behave young, here are the seven simple steps to take: • Stay sexually active: Just as is the case with any body part, the vagina is a “use or lose it” organ. According to an expert in female sexual health and vaginal rejuvenation, Dr. Karen Boyle, as a woman ages, she begins to lose fat in the vagina areas, such that the vagina can start to sag. What to do? Stay sexually active. You need to get stimulation and increased blood flow to that area, otherwise, the tissue and muscle can change, Boyle says. Blood flow through sex and orgasm will help in keeping it lubricated. Plus, if you are not worried about pregnancy, your partner’s semen may have an anti-aging effect because of the hormones, fatty acids, and anti-inflammatory compounds that semen contains. • Switch sex positions by mounting your man: Sex experts ...
